Large Russian airstrikes targeting major energy infrastructure in Ukraine have cut power to at least 1 million homes in the country.
Ukrainian authorities and the largest power company DTEK said energy facilities in the western region, including Levyu, Bolin and Livne, were attacked on a large scale overnight.
Ukraine's air force said today (28th) that it has shot down 79 of the 91 missiles launched by Russia.
It also shot down 35 of 97 Russian drones and failed to track the rest, it added.
