The recent increase in missile and drone attacks in the war between Ukraine and Russia has resulted in more than 12,000 civilian deaths.
In the meantime, at an international conference on Ukraine, the United States announced a large-scale plan for additional military aid, which President Zelensky asked the West to send troops as well.

The United Nations estimates that more than 12,000 civilians have died from the war in Ukraine since February 2022.
As long-range missile and drone attacks have increased over the past few months, the number of casualties has increased significantly.
Damage to the North Korean military supporting Russia is also increasing, and Ukrainian President Zelenskyy says the North Korean military casualties reach 4,000.
Western countries are continuing to work together to support Ukraine, with the prospect of an end-of-war deal still unclear.
U.S. Defense Secretary Austin, who attended the 'Ukraine Defense Liaison Group' meeting in Ramstein, Germany, announced additional military aid worth 730 billion won.

President Zelensky said the best way to force peace on Russia was to deploy a contingent of Western partners and asked them to send troops.

President Zelensky is appealing for more weapons and even more troops, but European countries are expected to remain cautious about direct dispatch.
