"May 27th" on National Aeronautics Day...Designating a National Day

May 27, when the National Aeronautics and Space Administration opened, has been designated as "Space Day," a national anniversary.

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration said that it is meaningful to establish the foundation for creating and fostering the domestic aerospace industry ecosystem, and that it will realize Korea's "big five aerospace powers" and lead the upcoming era of aerospace economy.

The Korea Space Administration said it plans to organize a celebration of National Aeronautics Day in connection with various science and technology cultural programs on May 27 next year and prepare various events that the public can feel by linking them with major schedules such as the 4th launch of Nuri.
