Defender Hwang Moon-ki, who was on the national soccer team's call-up list in November, was excluded and Kim Moon-hwan was selected as a substitute.

The Korea Football Association said that Hwang Moon-ki of Gangwon Province was out due to an injury on his left thigh, and decided to select Kim Moon-hwan of Daejeon instead.

Hwang Mun-ki was originally a central midfielder, but he was included in the call-up list announced on the 4th as he showed his new ability after transforming into a side defender.

Kim Moon-hwan, who was selected as a substitute, played the lead role in the gold medal at the 2018 Asian Games and has played for the under-23 and senior teams.
