KBL has launched a fact-finding investigation into allegations that a player of professional basketball Sono was assaulted by head coach Kim Seung-ki.

The player claims that coach Kim also threatened him by swinging a towel, assaulting him, throwing furniture, and rushing.

The incident took place in the locker room on the 10th after Sono finished the second quarter with SK.Player

A claimed that Kim Seung-ki threw a whiteboard eraser at him and swung a towel to hit him in the face, blaming his performance.

He explained the situation at the time that he was so outraged that he threatened to run toward him, and the coach next to him held Kim behind him and stopped him.

The face hit by the towel also felt pain, but he was mentally hurt by manager Kim, who was angry as if he was disgraced in front of other players.

Coach Kim said in a YTN call that he swung a towel at the player because he was angry at the contents of the game, but explained that he didn't mean to hit him in the face.

He added that he sent an apology text to the player and went home because of his greed to raise him as a good player, but the player did not accept it.

The KBL Clean Basketball Center received an anonymous report in this regard.
