Park Chang-beom, former president of the Korea Wushu Association, who declared an indefinite hunger strike against Lee Ki-heung, chairman of the Korea Sports Association, was hospitalized in 11 days.

Former chairman Park Chang-beom said he would stop fasting at the recommendation of former lawmaker Lee Jong-gul, and said he would work on unifying candidates to prevent Chairman Lee Ki-heung from serving three consecutive terms.

Former lawmaker Lee Jong-gul, who has been serving four terms since the 16th, emphasized the need for "unification of the opposition camp" as he ran for the last sports presidential election, but finished third with 21.4% of the vote.

Former chairman Park, who will run in the next election in January next year, has been fasting in front of the Olympic Center in Bangi-dong, Seoul since the 22nd of last month, urging current chairman Lee Ki-heung not to run.

Former Table Tennis Association President Yoo Seung Min, Dankook University Honorary Professor Kang Shin-wook, former Seoul Sports Council President Kang Tae-sun, and former Incheon Mayor Ahn Sang-soo visited the "fast tent."
