Special attention is needed as it will snow a lot in Seoul and other parts of the country until the day after tomorrow in the cold weather.
The Korea Meteorological Administration announced a preliminary special warning for heavy snowfall in Seoul and other metropolitan areas, including Yeongseo, Chungbuk, Gyeongbuk, and Jeonbuk as of 4 p.m. today (26th).
With the influx of cold snow clouds in the region, heavy snow is expected to fall up to 20cm in Gangwon Province, 15cm in the mountains of Honam and Jeju Island, and up to 10cm in eastern Gyeonggi Province and Chungcheong Province by the day after tomorrow.
Seoul is also expected to see a lot of snow of 3 to 8 centimeters.
The Korea Meteorological Administration feared that there would be a risk of a slip accident on the way to work due to the high possibility of strong and heavy snow concentration between dawn and morning tomorrow.
The snow will continue inland until the morning of the day after tomorrow and then subside in the afternoon, but Chungcheong and Honam regions, which are affected by the terrain, are expected to continue until the end of the week.
In particular, colder weather than usual below zero is expected to continue somewhat longer through the weekend and next week.
