Extreme cold until tomorrow morning, central -10℃...Snow on the east coast.

Tomorrow (19th) the morning temperature in the central part of the country will drop by nearly minus 10 degrees Celsius, causing a severe cold, and some snow will accumulate on the east coast.

The Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) said that the northern cold will fall south and temperatures in Cheorwon and Paju will drop to minus 12 degrees Celsius, Daejeon to minus 6 degrees Celsius, and Seoul to minus 5 degrees Celsius tomorrow morning, making it as cold as today.

In particular, snow is expected to fall up to 15cm on the east coast of Gangwon-do Province and up to 10cm on the east coast of Gyeongsangbuk-do Province and Dokdo Island of Ulleungdo Island overnight.

Later in the week, the cold wave will slow down for a while, but it will snow on the west coast and inland in the central part of the country, and a stronger cold wave is expected from Sunday after the snow rain stops.
