[Network] Kangwon National University Launches Semiconductor Specialization Project Group and Joint Research Institute

Kangwon National University held a joint semiconductor research institute launch ceremony with the opening of a semiconductor specialized university business group.

In particular, the joint research institute plans to conduct research specializing in semiconductor design, and to this end, it has decided to establish a new semiconductor convergence major and multiple major courses starting next year.

It also plans to invest 78 billion won in state and local expenses to build semiconductor education and research infrastructure and train 50 semiconductor professionals annually over the next four years.
