Hwacheon Police Station in Gangwon Province is investigating 37-year-old A on charges of trying to set fire to the county office out of spite of receiving administrative guidance.
Mr. A is accused of driving into Hwacheon County Office at around 5 p.m. yesterday (18th) with a blood alcohol concentration of 0.09%, which is the level of revocation of his license, and trying to set the building on fire with 140 liters of gasoline.
Mr. A, a worker in the vegetable processing industry, was found to have committed the crime with dissatisfaction when he received administrative guidance from the county office for violating regulations such as operating a business site by invading a set area.
At that time, a county office employee reported it in advance, and the police arrested A, who was trying to enter the building, and seized the vehicle and gasoline.
