Governor of Gyeonggi-do Province Kim Dong-yeon said, "Colonel Park Jung-hoon is not guilty," regarding the recent prosecution's request for a three-year prison term for former Marine Corps investigator Park Jung-hoon in connection with the death of Corporal Chae.

Governor Kim wrote on his Facebook page this afternoon (22nd), "The guilty people are blaming the innocent," and wrote, "The truth will surely be revealed."

Earlier, the military prosecution demanded a three-year prison term for Park, the former head of the investigation team, who was handed over to trial on charges of mutiny and defamation of his superiors in connection with the death of a Marine soldier.
