According to the Ministry of Public Administration and Security's daily report on safety management, as of 6 a.m. this morning, five people were killed and 439 people from 264 households were evacuated in connection with the heavy snow.

Among the evacuees, 384 people have yet to return home and are staying in temporary facilities such as town halls.

In addition, property damage caused by heavy snow increased to 27 cases, and 180 aircraft and 76 ferries were canceled.

Out of 189 cases, 95% of the power outages were restored.
