Four places, including the office of the head of the strategic industry bureau in Changwon City, are subject to seizure and search.

At the same time as the search and seizure of Changwon City Hall, the prosecution also conducted a search and seizure of the Office of the Director of Urban Housing in Gyeongsangnam-do and the Industrial Complex Policy Division.

These are the departments of the city hall and provincial government related to the designation of Changwon's second national industrial complex.

Prosecutors scanned the data carefully, copying all related data from computer hard disks.

We look into the suspicion that Myung Tae-kyun was involved in the selection of the site of Changwon's second national industrial complex.

The prosecution is also focusing on analyzing data obtained from the search and seizure of the people's power.

It's a close look at the nomination process.

We checked data related to nomination of seven local districts, including Changwon Uichang, where the 2022 parliamentary by-elections took place.

We are also analyzing computerized data containing the contents of messengers exchanged between the party representatives and members of the nomination management committee who were in charge of nomination management at the time.

In addition, it is expected to call officials from the mission committee to investigate soon.

Meanwhile, the arrest deadline for Myung and former lawmaker Kim Young-sun will be on the 5th and 3rd of next month.

The prosecution is said to be considering arresting and prosecuting Myung Tae-kyun and former lawmaker Kim Young-sun together around the 3rd of next month.
