Gwangju Mayor Kang Ki-jung posted a message on social media shortly after the impeachment of President Yoon Suk Yeol, saying, "It is the first judgment of the National Assembly against the power of the martial law rebellion and the victory of the people," stressing that we should move forward together for a stronger democracy.

Mayor Kang joined the Gwangju Citizens' Rally held in Geumnam-ro, Gwangju today.
