The first project of Moa Town, which Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon proposed to collect and jointly develop old houses in areas where large-scale redevelopment is difficult, has opened its first shovel.
With construction continuing just three years after being selected as the target site, attention is being paid to whether it can become a new model for the maintenance of old housing in Seoul.

Between the narrow alleyways, old houses are all attached and there is no parking space.
Gangbuk Bun-dong, a typical old residential area, has opened its first shovel for the construction of 1,200 apartments in three years after the promotion of "Moah House," a maintenance project for Oh Se-hoon.
The first Moa Town in Seoul, Bun-dong Moa Town, is a project jointly promoted by five nearby Moa houses.
With the gathering of five blocks of MoA housing, it will be possible to operate an integrated underground parking lot and living and convenience facilities, and new green spaces such as the Uicheon Stream promenade will be created.
