"Don't cancel the year-end party, have lunch." Gangwon Youth Small Business Association Relay Campaign

The Gangwon Youth Small Business Association has launched a campaign to revitalize local commercial districts during the year-end and New Year holidays.

The Youth Small Business Association said that the economy of small business owners is at a rock bottom as emergency rules and impeachment have led to the cancellation of year-end group dinners such as year-end parties or travelers canceling their stays.

As a result, the canceled year-end party is holding a campaign to encourage people to replace it with lunch or light dinner.

The Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business conducted an emergency survey of 505 restaurant and lodging workers from the 10th to the 12th on the current status of damage to small business owners and self-employed people, and found that 46.9%, or half, said they suffered direct and indirect damage such as cancellation of group reservations.

In particular, in the case of the border area of Gangwon-do, where there are many military units, the damage to merchants is known to be serious as the military units are on alert, and not only staying out, going out, but also going out.
