Gwangju Mayor Kang Ki-jung held a press conference today (26th) to announce the results of this year's municipal administration and plans for next year's municipal administration, stressing that he will restore the people's livelihood economy through expansionary finances next year.

Mayor Kang promoted the "Gwangju Visit Year" project by taking advantage of Gwangju's strengths such as culture, art, and sports, and presented artificial intelligence, future history, and RE100 as future growth engines.

At the same time, he said that Gwangju has kept the Republic of Korea from martial law this year, adding the spirit of May 18 to the full text of the constitution and taking the lead in institutionalizing the introduction of a prior consent system to prevent the declaration of martial law.
