The group NCT Jaehyun will join the military in November.
SM Entertainment said on its fan community platform, "Jaehyun applied to the Army Military Band and received a notice of acceptance from the Military Manpower Administration today (26th)."
In response, Jae-hyun will join the active military on November 4th to fulfill his military service obligations.
A separate official event will not be held on the day of admission to the boot camp. SM explained, "As it is a place with a large number of soldiers and families, it is to prevent safety accidents caused by congestion at the site."
Jae-hyun, who was born in 1997, debuted as an NCT member in April 2016 and was loved by several hit songs such as "Hero," "Lemonade," and "Boss." Recently, he has been acting in parallel, and is set to release the movie "You Die in 6 hours" next month.
