This year's U.S. Grammy Awards did not invite K-pop singers. Even BTS members of the group who released solo songs were not nominated.

According to the Recording Academy of the United States on the 8th, K-pop singers were not included in the shortlist for this year's Grammy Awards.

The K-pop singer failed to make a nomination at the ceremony for the second consecutive year following last year.

In particular, among BTS members this year, Jin's solo song "I'll Be There," Jimin's second solo album "MUSE," and Jungkook's solo single "Seven" were released, but they were also excluded from the candidate list.

Previously, BTS was nominated for the "Best Pop Induction Group Performance" category for the third consecutive year from 2020 to 2022.

Pop star Beyonce became the most nominated candidate for this year's Grammy Awards, with 11 categories. It is also the highest record ever for the ceremony.

The Beatles' nomination, which has been named for the first time in 28 years, is also a notable point. Beatles members Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr completed John Lennon's unfinished demo song recorded in 1977 using AI and presented it under the title "Now And Then" in November last year.

Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter was also nominated. He was nominated for the "Audio Book, Narration, Storytelling, and Recording category" for his lecture recording album.
