The prosecution decided "no charges" in connection with the alleged assault filed by comedian Kim Byung-man's ex-wife.
An official from Kim Byung-man's agency Sky Turtle told YTN today (20th) that "the prosecution's investigation into the alleged assault on his ex-wife resulted in 'no charges'."
A previously claimed in a media interview that "Kim Byung-man has repeatedly assaulted during his marriage and is currently being sent to the prosecution on charges of assault."
However, Kim Byung-man said, "The police concluded that the case was 'no charge' and later sent to the prosecution with the opinion of non-prosecution," refuting, "If you look at the date of the assault claimed by his ex-wife, Kim Byung-man was abroad on that date, so the assault cannot be established."
Kim Byung-man said, "According to the results of the prosecution's investigation, the response to the spread of false information by his ex-wife will be discussed later."
