Nexon 'Maple Story' partially lost probability manipulation... "Return 5% of purchase price"

Nexon has been ruled to compensate part of the purchase price for gamers who suffered damage from Maple Story's probability manipulation.

The Supreme Court yesterday (28th) upheld a second trial ruling that Nexon, a game company, should return 5% of the purchase amount in a lawsuit filed by Maple Story users against Nexon Korea.

In 2021, Nexon's Game Maple Story revealed that it manipulated the option probability of the item 'Cube', and accordingly, a lawsuit was filed to "refund the 11 million won spent on the game."

Regarding the ruling, a Nexon official said, "We will do our best to restore the trust of users and provide better game services."
