'Kang Daniel defamation' fine of 10 million won for Taldeok concentration camp

The operator of the YouTuber "Taldeok Detention Center," who was put on trial for defaming singer Kang Daniel, was fined in the first trial.

The Seoul Central District Court today (11th) fined Park, the operator of the YouTube channel "Taldeok Detention Center," who was accused of defamation.

The court blamed YouTube for posting sensational content about famous celebrities for economic gain, causing hard-to-recovery.

Park was put on trial in 2022 for posting a false video on his YouTube channel with the aim of slandering singer Kang Daniel.

In addition, he is being separately charged and tried for defaming other celebrities by posting YouTube videos that slander other celebrities such as BTS and IVE's Jang Won-young.
