Deepfake sex crime suspects arrested 318 this year alone...Police are investigating 513 cases.

Amid a series of deepfake sex crimes, more than 300 suspects have been caught by police this year alone.

The National Police Agency said it arrested 318 suspects of deepfake sex crimes from January of this year to the 10th.

Among them, 251 were teenagers and 57 were in their 20s, with the absolute majority of teenagers and young people, followed by nine in their 30s and one in their 40s.

There are 513 cases related to deepfake sex crimes currently being investigated by the police, and the scale of the investigation is expected to continue to expand as damage reports or complaints continue.
