The whale-themed festival opened today?

[Reporter]
Yes, it is.

Do you see this enormous-sized sculpture of a whale?

When I think of Ulsan, this whale comes to mind first.

Here in the special whale culture zone, where I am, the only whale-themed festival in Korea has just been held. There are various facilities and events related to

whales so you can see and enjoy everything about whales.Visitors are gathering one by one to enjoy the

Whale Festival.

The Ulsan Whale Festival, which marks its 28th anniversary this year, began to bring back memories of Jangsaengpo Village, where whale fishing flourished in the past.

The festival, which runs for a total of four days from today to the 29th, is full of various programs that sublimate Ulsan's whale culture into a festival.Family visitors are having a good time at Nori Madang, where you can experience various whale-related experiences such as making

whale mood lights.

The Whale Blue Marble game, where you learn the history and story of Jangsaengpo on a giant blue marble board, is very popular with children.

From noon, the dynamic performance of the water flyboard will be held in Ulsan sea,
A variety of performances, including the circus of famous domestic street artists, will also be held to capture the eyes and ears of visitors.

In addition, Jangsaeng, the representative whale character in Nam-gu, Ulsan, will introduce the festival at 7 p.m. this evening, and a celebration performance and fireworks show by popular singers will be held.

On Saturday, the highlight of the festival will also be the Whale Parade, which will be joined by more than 1,000 Ulsan residents and professional performance teams.

It would be a good idea to make unforgettable autumn memories with precious people by recalling old memories with whales symbolizing harmony and hope at this festival.

So far, I'm Seo Ji-hyun of YTN in Ulsan Whale Culture Special Zone.
