The Fair Trade Commission says it is filing a complaint with prosecutors against IDioTech and its representatives for failing to comply with subcontract payment orders.

In February, IDioTech was ordered to pay 38.5 million won in subcontracting payments and delayed interest that were not given to subcontractors in connection with the consignment of government-related services, an e-government service.

The FTC has since urged Idiotech to issue corrective orders twice, but said it would file a complaint with prosecutors against the corporation and its representatives for violating subcontracting laws because Idiotech failed to do so.

The Fair Trade Commission said a corrective order was imposed for failing to pay subcontract payments to small suppliers, but it will take strict measures to ensure that operators avoiding them can even face criminal punishment.
