Iran "has no plans to send troops to Lebanon, Gaza"

Iran says it has no plans to send troops to Lebanon or Gaza to fight Israel amid ongoing Israeli airstrikes against pro-Iranian armed factions such as Hamas and Hezbollah.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanani said Lebanese and Palestinian fighters were fully capable of countering the invasion.

However, he has repeatedly warned Israel that it will pay for crimes committed against the Iranian people, soldiers and insurgents.
