Israel has repeatedly cited the possibility of a ground war in Lebanon and is gathering tanks and troops to the border one after another.

Hezbollah, which lost its head, Hasan Nasrallah, in the bombing, said it was ready for ground war and vowed to fight all out.

Reporter Shin Woong-jin's report.

There are numerous Israeli tanks on the Lebanese border.

We are ready to advance across the border at any time as long as we receive an order.

A "closed military zone" has been declared to restrict access to some towns in northern Israel, prompting speculation that ground warfare is imminent.

"Removing Nasrallah is a very important step, but that is not all," Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant said, again hinting at the possibility of a ground war with all capabilities.

[Joab Galant / Israeli Defense Minister] This is the mission of the Israeli military. If necessary, I will mobilize your unit, other units, air force, navy, army, everything.]

Hezbollah has reiterated its willingness to fight back, saying it is ready to stand up to Israeli ground forces.

Naim Ghasem, Hezbollah's second-in-command, said in a statement that he would win, as he did when he fought Israel in 2006.

[Naim Gaseem / Hezbollah 2nd in line: We are ready. If Israel decides to enter the land, the resistance is preparing for a ground war.

The Iranian government drew the line again this time, saying it would not send troops because Lebanese fighters were fully capable of countering the invasion.

[Nasser Khani / Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson: The Islamic Republic of Iran and its people do not seek war. Rather, we are trying to consolidate peace and stability in the region.

Israel, which is gaining momentum by attacking Lebanon and Yemen following Gaza, is heading for a full-fledged ground war, shouting "My Way" again this time despite the international community's dissuasion, including the United States.
