September this year was recorded as the hottest September ever.


According to the Meteorological Data Opening Portal of the Korea Meteorological Administration, last month's average daily minimum temperature, maximum temperature, and average temperature were all the highest since 1973, when weather observations began.

Last month, the national average daily minimum temperature was 20.9 degrees, exceeding 20 degrees in September for the first time ever, and 4.8 degrees higher than the average of 16.1 degrees.

The national average daily maximum temperature was 29.6 degrees, approaching 30 degrees, ranking first all-time, 3.9 degrees higher than usual and 2.4 degrees higher than in 1973, when it was previously ranked first.

Last month's average temperature was 24.7 degrees, the highest ever, and 4.2 degrees higher than the average temperature of 20.5 degrees.
