Three 5-year-old kids in Switzerland...the arrest of a Chinese criminal

Three 5-year-old children were seriously injured when they were attacked with a weapon by a gunman outside a daycare center in Zurich, Switzerland.

"A nursery teacher was heading to a daycare center with several children when a man suddenly grabbed a weapon and attacked the children," Zurich police said in a statement on 1 local time.

Police said a nursery teacher quickly suppressed the gunman with the help of another man, explaining that the gunman was a 23-year-old Chinese man.

It did not say the motive behind the crime.

All three 5-year-old boys who were stabbed were taken to the hospital for treatment.

One of them was seriously injured.

Currently, police psychologists and treatment teams have been deployed to take care of the affected children.
