Tehran, the capital of Iran.

The citizens gathered in the square are in a festive mood.

Iran-sponsored militants wave Hamas and Hezbollah flags and cheer.

I heard that they fired missiles at Israel.

[Tehranian citizen] I am very happy. I've been waiting for this news all night. If Israel retaliates, we will fight back with our lives.]

Iran's Revolutionary Guard issued a statement calling the missile launch a retaliation for death.

Iranian state television said the same.

That's why Israel named Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh, Hezbollah chief Hasan Nasrallah, and Abbas Nilforushan, the head of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard's Red Army.

[Iranian state TV announcer: We retaliate against criminals in the name of merciful Allah]

Israel has foreshadowed retribution.

He said that the missile launch will have consequences, and that he will act by choosing the time and place because he has a retaliatory plan.

[Daniel Hagari / Israeli military spokesman: We are ready to defend and attack. We will protect the citizens of Israel.]

Iran's U.N. mission said "Iran has responded legitimately and justly to Israel's acts of terrorism" and warned that neighboring countries would do well to break up with the Zionist regime.
