Korea Communications Commission, 'Preparation for Broadcast Interruption' Disaster Response Safety Korea Training
The Korea Communications Commission has announced that it has conducted a "safety training for disaster response" jointly with 10 major broadcasters and related organizations.

The training was conducted under the assumption that broadcasting was suspended due to a large-scale power outage in the metropolitan area due to a typhoon and a fire at a broadcasting company.

At the site, disaster broadcasting, such as how to act for the people, was strengthened, and training to support restoration materials between broadcasters was focused on in case it was impossible to restore broadcasting facilities on its own.

In the debate training held at the Gwacheon Government Complex of the Korea Communications Commission, we checked the field situation and the step-by-step response according to the crisis response guidelines.

Kim Tae-kyu, acting chairman of the Korea Communications Commission, stressed the need for thorough pre-inspection and training to ensure that broadcasting services are not interrupted in any emergency situation.
