Prosecutors Seizure Hyundai Engineering & Construction Headquarters... Suspicion of 'Bribery of Overseas Orders'

The prosecution has launched a forced investigation into allegations that Hyundai E&C executives and employees handed over bribes in the process of winning overseas construction projects.

The Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office has been conducting a search and seizure of Hyundai Engineering & Construction's headquarters since this morning (6th).

Hyundai E&C executives and employees are suspected of bribing high-ranking officials in the country in connection with the construction work they won in Indonesia.

A prosecution official explained that it is still in the search and seizure stage, so it is difficult to reveal the number of suspects or detailed charges.
