North Jeolla Province Tries to Host 2036 Summer Olympics
Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province has challenged to host the 2036 Summer Olympics.
Jeollabuk-do will submit its application to the Korean Sports and Olympic Committee by the 12th, the deadline for applying for the Olympics.
Jeollabuk-do did not clearly state its position on hosting Jeonbuk alone or co-hosting with Seoul.
An official from Jeollabuk-do said, "We will make an announcement regarding this soon."
