A woman's story has been told that she was treated as a "true customer" after inquiring about whether she could give her child more soup to eat at a restaurant.
Recently, an online community posted an article titled, "Am I a mom-chung and a real customer?"
According to the author A, he visited the beef tartare house he usually goes to with his husband and 5-year-old child and ordered nearly 100,000 won, including beef tartare and beef sashimi.
"The soup was not enough for my child to eat, but it was burdensome because it was too much to order a single dish," A said. "I asked if I could give you another soup or if I could get a refill because I didn't have to give you boiled pork and spicy rice cakes as basic side dishes, and the restaurant owner refused with a straight face."
The problem occurred afterwards. By chance, I saw an article criticizing A written by the president of the yukhoe restaurant on social media.
The owner of the yukhoe restaurant wrote, "It's not a place to eat, it's a bar, but I brought my child and didn't order alcohol," "I asked for more without side dishes as I wanted," "It's a menu that's selling, but I asked for more," "I ruined the atmosphere of the store because of my child," and "I asked for a plate for my child to use."
In response, A said, "There was no provision that you must order alcohol. I just asked because there was a difference in the amount between the mini-sized beef soup and the single beef soup, he said. "My child made a loud noise about two or three times, and if I showed him YouTube, he would eat on his own, and he cursed on social media." In the comments, everyone treated me like a heartworm," he said.
Netizens who encountered the story said, "Is it normal to point out any complaints at the time and write sniping messages from behind?" and "Is it true that I asked for more soup?" and "It's not true." He sympathized with A's story, saying, "If you carry your child around, you become a sinner."
On the other hand, some agreed with the boss's position, such as "If the baby likes it, you can just order it and leave it," "From the boss's point of view, he may not like it if he doesn't drink at the bar and keeps the video on," and "It's wrong to take his child to the bar itself."
