A day before the Yoon Suk Yeol President's statement to the public, the Democratic Party of Korea issued three major demands, including the acceptance of Kim Gun-hee's special prosecutor.

While some in the party say they will not expect a change in President Yoon's position in the first place, the Democratic Party plans to continue its struggle inside and outside the National Assembly to pressure Kim.

Ahead of Yoon Suk Yeol's public statement, the Democratic Party has made three demands.

He insisted that a clear position should be presented on the direct explanation of the alleged manipulation of state affairs, such as the so-called "Myeong Tae-kyun Gate", an apology to the public, the acceptance of Kim Gun-hee, the independent counsel, and the demand for an end to war tactics.

Among them, the Democratic Party of Korea has not slowed down the level of the special prosecutor Kim's offensive.

He pressed again to accept the special prosecutor, saying that a clumsy "apology show" that opposes the special prosecutor or avoids the core with a written answer would only invite public anger and resistance.

Some members of the party are skeptical that they do not expect a change in the presidential office's attitude in the first place, saying that it will definitely end up as a "Mengtang discourse" again.

In a phone call with YTN, a key Democratic Party official insisted that President Yoon would accept Kim's special prosecutor, who could collapse the regime,
The allegations related to Myung Tae-kyun
also undermined that there would be no reasonable explanation.

The Democratic Party plans to push ahead with the internal and external struggles to urge the special prosecutor to accept as scheduled.

We plan to continue the rally every weekday night in front of the main building of the National Assembly until the 14th when the vote of the Special Prosecutor Act is held.

President Yoon has warned that if he vetoes again this time, he will take a second emergency action that will further raise the level.

The weekend will also hold the second large-scale outdoor rally following last week in the city center near Sungnyemun Gate in Seoul.

In the midst of this, the Democratic Party of Korea publicly protested, saying that the public's demand for the first trial of Lee Jae-myung to be broadcast live was a threat to convict the court.

The Democratic Party of Korea plans to consider whether to release additional recordings of suspicions of involvement in the nomination of Myung Tae-kyun if President Yoon's statement to the public falls short of expectations.
