It's YTN weather on the way to work.

Today is the first season of winter, 'Ipdong'.

As if in time for the season, this cold has reached its peak.

The temperature in Gwanghwamun, Seoul, where I am currently, is 2.6 degrees, which is about 2 degrees lower than at the same time yesterday.

It is breaking the lowest temperature this fall again in a day.

In particular, the actual wind chill has dropped to 1.3 degrees.

When you come out, please pay attention to keeping warm with a winter coat like me.

Overnight, the cold air continued to descend south in the northwest, and the temperature dropped significantly.

Currently, below-zero cold is occurring in places such as minus 4.4 degrees Celsius in Daegwallyeong, minus 2.9 degrees Celsius in Paju, and minus 0.8 degrees Celsius in Andong.

Most of the other inland areas are down 5 degrees.

Therefore, there will be frost and water freezing around the interior in the cold.

You should be careful not to damage crops.

In the middle of the day, the temperature will be relatively higher than yesterday, but it will still be somewhat colder than usual.

Today's daytime temperature will rise to 14 degrees in Seoul and 17 degrees in Gwangju and Daegu, widening the daily temperature gap.

The early winter cold will gradually ease as the temperature rises from tomorrow afternoon.

Tonight, it will only rain a little on Jeju Island, and the sky will be mostly clear for the time being.

The daytime temperature in Seoul is expected to rise to 19 degrees this coming weekend, showing milder weather than usual.

Today, with strong winds, the waves of the thunder will also be high around the east coast.

Please pay special attention to facility management and safety accidents.

We're YTN One.
