"Trump wins" "big-handed gambler" who earned 67.2 billion won

There is a gambler who earned 48 million dollars (about 67.26 billion won) by predicting Donald Trump's victory in the U.S. presidential election.

The person named Freddie 9999, who has four accounts on Polymarket, the world's largest cryptocurrency-based betting site, is expected to earn a total of $48 million in the U.S. presidential election bet, Bloomberg reported on the 6th.

The gambler is expected to make about $22 million in revenue from four accounts combined in the most common betting area to match the next president.

It also found that Trump will earn $26 million by getting the results right in all other bets, asking whether he will outperform the overall vote count or win Pennsylvania, which has been considered the biggest winner.Two of the gamblers' four accounts

As Freddie 9999 increased its big bets ahead of this presidential election, the polymarket, concerned about the possibility of market manipulation, had launched its own investigation.

Polimarket said the investigation found Freddie 9999 was a French national with a lot of experience in the financial sector and was simply betting on Trump's electability.

Polymarket's predictive bet on presidential election results allows them to answer "yes" or "no" to questions about a particular candidate's chances of winning and then choose how much they'll bet, as well as the resulting dividends.

The probability of each result appearing at a specific point in time is also determined.

The jackpot-busting figure introduced himself in a comment on his polymarket account as an investor, statistician in Europe and a "big-handed gambler" who is willing to bet millions on Trump's electability.
