Park said at a policy coordination meeting that Donald Trump's victory in the U.S. presidential election is expected to bring about a huge change in the international situation.

President-elect Trump then pointed out that there is no reason for the Korean government to dispatch troops or provide weapons support in such a situation when he has already negotiated with Russia to push for a quick end to the war.
