Today, during the "Ipdong" season, the cold reached its peak in Seoul, with the wind chill falling below zero and the first ice being observed.

Even in this weather, uninvited autumn mosquito activities continue.

Even before dawn, citizens on their way to work cringe at the cold air penetrating their outerwear and hurry their steps.

[Jo Hyun-ji / Ilsan-dong-gu, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do: It's so cold that I'm shaking my body, I didn't know it would get this cold, so I put on my jacket. I think I need to pack a padded jacket.

The morning temperature in Seoul, which has been on a downward trend for three days, was 1.6 degrees, another record low this fall.

Due to the cold wind, the temperature fell to minus 1.2 degrees Celsius, marking the first time below zero.

Coronation temperature dropped to minus 4.7 degrees Celsius, lowest in the country,
Temperatures in most parts of the country, including minus 3.6 degrees in Paju, minus 2.4 degrees in Geochang, minus 1.8 degrees in Cheonan, 1.6 degrees in Daegu, and 3.7 degrees in Gwangju, were the lowest this fall.

In particular, the first ice was observed today in Seoul following the first frost yesterday.

The first ice was also observed in Daejeon and Daegu, and the first frost appeared in Gwangju, especially in Daegu.

Compared to the time when the midday temperature in Seoul exceeded 25 degrees just five days ago, the autumn mosquitoes are still rampant even though they have dropped by more than 20 degrees.

Individuals that have penetrated into the house or in puddles have survived.

There are many posts on social media and social media expressing discomfort, such as not sleeping well due to mosquitoes.

Tomorrow morning, it will be cold starting at 4 degrees in Seoul, but the temperature will gradually rise from day to day.

On the weekend, the weather is expected to return to 4 to 5 degrees higher than usual.
