Domestic supply of manufacturing products fell 0.4% in the third quarter, continuing the decline for more than a year.

The National Statistical Office said the manufacturing domestic supply index fell 0.4% in the third quarter of this year from a year ago, marking the fifth consecutive quarter of decline.

This is the longest decline since 2010 when related statistics were compiled.

However, as the decline is gradually decreasing from -2.9% in the third quarter of last year, it is analyzed that the slowdown in demand due to sluggish domestic demand is improving.

The manufacturing domestic supply index is an index of the real supply amount of manufacturing products produced domestically and shipped to Korea, or produced abroad and distributed domestically.
