Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu compared the violence in the Netherlands, where his soccer fans were injured, to the Jewish looting during Nazi Germany, local media reported.

The Times of Israel said in a video statement that Netanyahu had "a "correction night" in which Jews were attacked 86 years ago on European soil just because they were Jews."

"This 'correction night' incident returned and was seen again on the streets of Amsterdam yesterday," he said, accusing "pro-Palestinian mobs of attacking hundreds of Israeli soccer fans."

"The only difference is that now a Jewish state has been established," Netanyahu said, stressing that "the forces behind it are a threat not only to Jews but to the entire free world."

'Crystal Night' refers to an incident in which Germans looted Jewish shops and set fire to synagogues throughout Nazi Germany from the night of November 9th to the dawn of the next day in 1938.

At that time, it was named because the glass on the shelves of the Jewish store was broken, filling the streets and glistening.

Netanyahu has instructed overseas intelligence agencies such as Mossad to prepare action plans, alarm systems and response organizations for new situations.

The prime minister earlier dispatched Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar to Amsterdam, the Netherlands, to meet with Dutch government officials to discuss countermeasures.

After the Europa League match between the Dutch and Israeli soccer teams at Johan Cruyff Arena in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, on the night of the 7th, Israeli soccer fans who cheered for the away game were attacked in various parts of the city.

Israeli authorities said about 10 people were injured and suspected local Muslims and Arabs in the Netherlands were the perpetrators.
