You're chosen as the "New Marriage Special" with a fake address...an appellate court fine

A man in his 30s, who won a special supply apartment for newlyweds with a false registration, was fined in the appeal trial following the first trial.

The Busan District Court dismissed the appeal of A, who was accused of violating the Housing Act, and sentenced him to a fine of 2 million won.

The court explained that it considered that Mr. A won the subscription for Busan residents by having an address in Busan, not his actual residence.

Mr. A claimed that he did not intentionally make a false registration or that the winning of the subscription was irrelevant to his residence, but the court did not accept it.
