A day after the International Criminal Court, the ICC, issued an arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, Hungarian Prime Minister Orban Viktor officially invited him.

Prime Minister Orban, who has been showing off his friendship with Trump, said he had officially invited Netanyahu to Hungary and that Hungary would guarantee freedom and security.

It also argued that the issuance of arrest warrants by the ICC was a fundamentally wrong political decision and would undermine the credibility of international law and fuel the Middle East conflict.

Earlier, the ICC issued arrest warrants for Netanyahu and former Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant on war crimes charges.

Accordingly, ICC-related parties such as Hungary must execute an arrest warrant if Netanyahu enters the country.

But Hungary became the first EU country to publicly violate ICC rules, with Orban pledging not to execute the warrant.

Europe's leading far-right politician, pro-Russian Prime Minister Orban has been at loggerheads with other member states, calling for an end to Ukraine aid.
