The authors of Project 2025, which U.S. President-elect Donald Trump distanced himself from during his campaign, are being appointed to key positions in the second Trump administration, which will be launched in January next year.

'Project 2025' is a collection of policy suggestions for the launch of Trump's second term, which sparked controversy over the views of the ultra-hard right, including the abolition of the Ministry of Education and response to illegal immigrants, and Trump distanced himself, saying, "It's just a suggestion."

Since his election, "Project 2025" has drawn renewed attention as Trump has appointed co-authors or contributors to Project 2025, including White House budget management office nominee Russell Bout, to key positions in the second administration.

In particular, Bout, who was also named White House budget manager for the second term following the first term, oversaw clearing executive orders and others that could be pursued without congressional procedures in the first six months of the second term in "Project 2025."

Bout is likely to play a key role in government restructuring and ousting non-loyal government officials, which calls for strengthening the president's authority as set out in "Project 2025."
