Other coins rose as Bitcoin took a breather before entering the $100,000 mark for the first time ever.
As of 1:50 p.m. ET on the U.S. cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase, the price per unit of Bitcoin was down 1.47% from 24 hours ago to $97,921.
As Bitcoin is taking a break for a while, Ethereum, Solana, Ripple, and Dogecoin, which are late virtual currencies other than Bitcoin, are starting to rise again.
At the same time, Ethereum, the second-largest market cap, rose 4.41% to $3,434, and Solana, which has been applied for spot exchange-traded funds by a large number of U.S. asset managers, rose 1.05% to $256.
Ripple, which is suing the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, rose 3.04% to $1.50 on news of the resignation of Chairman Gary Gensler, while Tesla Inc TSLA CEO Elon Musk rose 6.53% to $0.43.
