About 10 Chinese and Russian military aircraft invaded the KADIZ, Korea's air defense identification zone, today (29th), and our military deployed fighter jets to respond.

The Ministry of National Defense made a stern complaint to the military officers of both countries by wire and urged them to prevent a recurrence.

It was around 9:35 a.m. when Chinese and Russian military aircraft were found to have invaded the Korean Air Defense Identification Zone, Cadiz.

Five Chinese and six Russian military aircraft entered the East Sea and South Sea Cadiz sequentially for more than four hours before leaving.

There was no invasion of airspace.

The military identified it even before entering Cadiz and said it deployed air force fighters to take tactical action against contingencies.

The Ministry of National Defense also explained that it strongly protested to the Chinese and Russian defense chiefs in Korea by wire and urged efforts to prevent a recurrence.

Air defense identification zones are randomly designated lines for early identification of aircraft approaching airspace, and prior notification of entry is an international practice.

China's Defense Ministry said on its social media accounts that Chinese and Russian forces conducted a ninth round of joint strategic patrols in the East Sea airspace.

China and Russia invade Cadiz once or twice a year in the name of joint training, but they have not notified us in advance.

It was the first time in a year since December last year that Chinese and Russian military aircraft entered Cadiz at the same time, and China and Russia explained that they were joint air strategic patrols at the time.
