Greenpeace protesters, gas carriers without permission...Coast Guard dispatch

At around 10:40 a.m. today (30th), the Coast Guard received a report that Greenpeace activists had boarded an LPG carrier anchored in the sea around Ongjin Sea Station in Incheon without permission.

Police officers from Pyeongtaek Maritime Police Station, who were dispatched to the scene, broadcast a warning to Greenpeace about unauthorized boarding and induce them to disembark voluntarily.

An official from the Pyeongtaek Coast Guard later explained to Greenpeace that if illegal matters are found, they will investigate according to related laws.
