The prosecution recently raided the People's Power and Changwon City, and is speeding up the analysis of the confiscated materials.

The prosecution recently sent investigators to Changwon City and Gyeongsangnam-do to conduct a search and seizure.

This is to secure data related to the suspicion that Myung Tae-kyun was involved in the selection of the site of Changwon's second national industrial complex.

We focused on collecting data, such as copying computer hard disks from city hall and provincial government departments related to the designation of the National Industrial Complex.

The prosecution also conducted a two-day forced investigation into the headquarters of Yeouido, Seoul, and the National Assembly Hall.

This is to secure data suspected of Myung's involvement in the nomination in the 2022 parliamentary by-elections.

Efforts are also being made to secure messenger conversations exchanged between party leaders and officials of the nomination management committee at the time.

As the prosecution has completed its investigation of outside members, it is expected to call in internal members to investigate soon.

Rep. Yoon Sang-hyun and Han Ki-ho, who served as chairman and vice chairman at the time, and Lee Joon-seok, the leader of the party at the time, are eligible.

Prosecutors are also closely looking into allegations that former lawmaker Kim Young-sun's family bought land near the site of the National Industrial Complex,

The prosecution is expected to focus on writing an indictment to arrest and prosecute Myung Tae-kyun and former lawmaker Kim Young-sun together at the same time as analyzing the confiscated material.
