Chairman of the State Affairs Commission Kim Jong-un again showed off his military closeness by meeting with the Russian Defense Minister who is visiting North Korea. There are also observations that the issue of additional dispatch, the biggest pending issue between the two sides,

, will be finalized and visualized soon.

Chairman Kim Jong-un welcomed Russian Defense Minister Andrei Bellowsov, who visited Pyongyang.

North Korean media reported that the two had a friendly and reliable conversation.

In particular, it is notable that the U.S. and Europe criticized Ukraine for allowing attacks on Russia's mainland using the Atax missile.

It seems to be an intention to show off the military honeymoon relations between the two sides by emphasizing the legitimacy of sending North Korean troops.

Earlier, North Korean Foreign Minister Choi Sun-hee visited Moscow and met with Putin and his foreign minister.

As such, it is estimated that North Korea and Russia traveled between Pyongyang and Moscow to discuss the details of additional dispatch.

[Choi Sun-hee / North Korean Foreign Minister (Nov. 1 local time): I have no doubt that we will achieve victory, and I affirm that we will always be with our Russian comrades until the day of victory.]

On the other hand, it is interpreted as a strategy to raise the level of war ahead of President Trump's inauguration in January next year.

This is because if a forced ceasefire is made as Trump's plan, both Russia and Ukraine must defend their territory or secure occupied territories as much as possible to gain an advantage in the ceasefire negotiations.

[Jo Han-beom / Chair Researcher at the Institute for National Unification: It is difficult to completely end the war, but the possibility of a forced ceasefire is very high. Putin must take back Kursk, Russian territory...]

This is why some predict that North Korea's additional dispatch and weapons aid, which has already sent more than 10,000 troops to Russia, will soon become visible.
