Taiwanese President Lei Ching-deh went on his first overseas trip via the United States on the 30th, foreign media and Chinese media reported.

According to reports, President Lai was on a seven-day trip to the Marshall Islands, Tuvalu, and Palau, the Pacific Islands.

The next day, on the 1st of next month, I will arrive in Hawaii, a U.S. territory, stay for two days, and then move to the Marshall Islands to stay for a day.

After visiting Tuvalu on the 4th, he will spend another day in Guam, a stopover, move to Palau on the 5th, and return to Taiwan on the 6th.President

Lai is expected to travel through U.S. soil and hold private exchanges and talks at the Hawaii think tank 'East-West Center' (EWC), Taiwanese media said.There are no plans to visit the U.S. mainland

and it is unclear whether he will meet with a Trump administration official.
